Changeling Magic Permissions

The Mask
As a Changeling, Gil is no longer fully human. He's all but a shambling mess of a monster, with very little consistency or coherency between his body parts' theoretical sources. His general build is human enough, albeit jacked to hell and covered in an inch-short layer of thick, brown-black fur; but that's about where the similarity ends. Bulky gorilla-like arms hang down to his knees, not long enough to knuckle along but good for getting an astounding quadrupedal turn of speed. A wiry lupine tail hangs between solid hind legs, but doesn't quite reach the oil-black cloven hooves at their base. His eyes really are human, albeit with blood red irises, but his mouth and nose are a hyena's messy, scarred snout, with too-large fangs and a pronounced underbite, and his ears are bat-like and overlarge. He looks like he should have a thick mane, running from his head and shoulders, all the way down his spine and over most of his chest, but his fur is shaved hap-hazardously into submission (neater on his front than back, for obvious reasons).

He is, essentially, a fairy tale monster from a nightmare.

Normally, no one can see this: this is because he has that special Changeling illusion known as a Mask, that hides his changes completely and utterly from mundane eyes. Someone could touch him and feel skin instead of fur, be scratched by his claws and think they're just nail marks, be kicked by a hoof and the bruise, to mundane eyes, is shaped like a human footprint. It's very thorough, and persists in photos and even death.

Under certain circumstances, however, the Mask can be seen through. It can't be seen through with any kind of standard modern technology, but other Changelings see through it automatically. D&D skills such as True Seeing would work, but if you're not too sure then leave a comment and I'll think on it!

Fearmongering
As a member of the Autumn Court, Gil has the Contract Witches' Intuition and he's not afraid to use it. What this contract does is allows him to discern one of the subject's fears in exchange for telling them one of his own, and allows him to redirect their fears onto a different target for the length of the thread. This ability doesn't hurt anyone, but Gil will know what your character is scared of. This can end up giving highly situational results - if your character is already scared of something present or on high alert, Gil's gonna get a false positive.

The reason this skill is important is because Gil's court is represented by the emotion fear: a good way for him to recharge his Magic Bullshit is to scare people and siphon off the fear he's just caused. This doesn't hurt any persons involved or impact on the emotion in any way; it's just a Thing Gil Can Do. It doesn't necessarily have to be fear either; that's just the easiest and most refilling emotion for him to harvest, though deeper emotions give much better glamour than a moment's passion.

Can your character see through Gil's Mask? if necessary for some plot reason? silje is a reincarnated valkyrie, and reincarnation in her canon allows for the retention/rediscovery of one's "first life" abilities and such (something about them making up your soul, basically) so she has some form of "true sight" that activates when she's walking through dreams or when she encounters a dying soul.
Would you be alright with Gil using Witches' Intuition on your character? yes, bring it!
What is your character scared of? wolves. confined spaces, particularly endless vintage-themed corridors that show no way out. drowning.
Anything else? her permissions post is here, and we can always plot dream walking shenanigans :D
